My research has appeared or is forthcoming in Comparative Political Studies and Democratization. My dissertation focuses on autocratic election schedules: when do autocratic leaders manipulate election schedules, and how does the manipulation impact regime stability and the political participation of ordinary citizens?
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 2023. I hold an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Political Science from National Chengchi University, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Government and Laws) from the University of Hong Kong.
